Qualifications:
- 2 or 4-year degree in a science-related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills are required.
- Must have excellent telephone, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Duties:
- Individuals hired will work in a busy, fast-paced laboratory; working in the Histology Laboratory.
- Must be detail-oriented and flexible with the ability to multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Primary responsibilities involve the processing of tissue, including cutting, embedding, and staining, in preparation for microscopic examination by a pathologist.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills to interact with clients, physicians, and coworkers.
The individual hired will be required to pass their HT/HTL certification within 18 months of completing Histology training.
